 "Serving the Youth of Lincoln"

www.LincolnKiwanis.org

We are a group of dedicated volunteers actively involved in making a difference in the lives of children and adults in need in Lincoln.  Our major focus is serving the youth of Lincoln.

Through fundraisers and hands-on service projects, we provide over 3,000 books for our elementary schools for summer reading, tutor children who need some extra help, provide over $10,000 in college scholarships, sponsor youth sports teams and scout troops/packs, provide clothing and toys for children in need, and sponsor a free fishing derby for kids and their families.

We provide opportunities for the young leaders of Lincoln, from elementary school through high school to serve their community through service and leadership clubs.  We support their involvement in a variety of community projects enabling them to develop their leadership skills and greatly impact and benefit our community.

We also address the needs of the broader community by providing food for the hungry and working with the military to support our troops.

We are a supporter of the Kiwanis Family House, which provides affordable temporary lodging for parents of children undergoing in-patient treatment at UC Davis Children's Hospital and the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Together, we can make wonderful things happen for our children and our community.
